blockchain, distributed ledger technology, cryptocurrency
A few years ago as a result of the cooperation of programmers and cryptographers from different countries the distributed ledger technology (i.e. blockchain) was created. Initially it was used for cryptocurrencies and e-administration in Estonia. Polish Accelerator of Blockchain Technology aims to develop MVP of a few IT solutions for public institutions using blockchain technology.
Under the Accelerator we want to use blockchain technology in the first place to solve the problems identified and described in the government program "From paper to digital Poland." They are unique and important from the socio-economic perspective. The most important customer of these solutions will be the Ministry of Digital Affairs.
We are open to cooperate with other public institutions (which term includes not only the public administration, but also companies which carry out tasks assigned by the state, as well as universities or local governments). We welcome also talented programmers (also from abroad).
