Currently, PIBiR is implementing the second edition of the Bridge Alfa programme within the Intelligent Development Operational Programme, 2014-2020.

In the area of interest are projects at a very early stage of development, requiring substantive and financial support, projects with the possibility of scaling and commercialisation. The very early phase of the project requires a series of work to identify the industrial potential of the technology. These measures include, among others technological and business analyses, implementation of proof-of-concept, as well as negotiations with potential recipients of the technology in terms of its parameterization.

The objective of PIBiR is to help scientists in developing innovative technology companies and connecting them to the needs of industry and business, which is a response to the research, business and financial gap existing in the Polish research and development sector.

The PIBiR team consists of experts with many years of experience in the implementation of innovative solutions investments, acquisition of projects and patenting, as well as having a network of contacts. Financial support is granted in the form of investments ranging from PLN 100 000 to PLN 1 500 000. PIBiR then takes up a minority block of shares, leaving the Creators free.

PIBiR investment portfolio companies are proud to cooperate with such companies as: Volkswagen Motor Polska, Tauron, Grupa Azoty, Solaris, NVIDIA, Koleje Mazowieckie, Rimac Automobili, Magna International. PIBiR-supported startups participate in many industry events and conferences; they are also winners of many competitions.
