Start-up UP-DFA is an innovative device for diagnostics and treatment planning in the so-called. Digital Dentistry Workflow. The weak point of all methods is the need to use the above computed tomography to position the scans of the teeth in the three-dimensional model of the patient's skull. UP-DFA solves this problem (in a cheap and convenient way for the patient and the doctor's way). It allows you to carry out the entire digital planning process from the beginning, bypassing the traditional methods of patient impressioning and gypsum molding in a laboratory that is then scanned and stored in space using special positioners and CT images. Thanks to UP-DFA, the whole process is to measure the angle of inclination of the occlusal plane of the upper teeth relative to the patient's skull, scan the patient's teeth and digitally send the data to the lab without mail.
This process is not just about single frontal surgeries as is currently the case, but can be invaluable in planning very extensive orthognathic or traumatology surgery where the surgeon can receive templates that accurately reflect the position of the upper and middle jaw teeth.
